I had the greatest opportunity of my life to date. Working for Disney. I would not trade my experience there for anything. Not only did I learn a great deal, but I also met the greatest people I have ever known.
Going back to school and leaving everyone was the hardest thing ever. But I’m thankful for my Midwest friends that got me through/put up with my post-Disney depression.
Everyone always looks back at things with rose colored glasses. Things always seem better after they’ve happened. Somehow, the things that seemed so awful and life altering at the time, don’t really matter anymore. I had days I hated going to work, I was homesick, Disneysick, sick in general, annoyed with school, and mad at boys. But in the end, that’s what makes everything interesting. If my whole year had been nonstop happiness and magic, there would be a problem. It’s the random adventures, the new people you meet, the things that happen by accident and change everything that really count. Maybe it’s cliche, but the little things got me through the crap. The text messages and Skype dates with the guy I adored, the drunken escapades, driving around the city doing nothing, the trips to IHOP, the random guests that were really nice, and the ridiculous conversations with friends. All of those come together to make one interesting year. Sure there are things that I wish had been different, but I don’t regret a thing. People always wish their lives were like movies, but take a good look at your life. If you cut it up, moved some stuff around and picked the events you wanted, just like they do for the movies, you’d realize that it’s not that far off. Be grateful for everything you’re given, and don’t wish your life away. <3
Two thoughts at the moment. One: (see picture below) The birds from Snow White, except I’d want them on the inside of my hips. If that makes sense. I’m sure most of you have seen pictures of tattoos like that. Y’all know Disney is a huge part of my life, so it works, right?
The other idea I have deals more with my college program experience. I want the quote “We must always believe in our wishes, for they are the magic in the world” from the fireworks show “Wishes.” I’d get it on my ribs, and I’d probably have a trail of pixie dust through it as well.
So yeah. I’m probably gonna get one this summer with some of my bestest Disney friends, and I just wanted to know what y’all think! Comments?
I absolutely adore seeing people post about their upcoming Disney College Programs! I know y’all are going to have such an amazing time! Take advantage of every opportunity, meet as many people as you can, and go with an open mind. Get ready to make the best friends of your entire life and make memories that will last you forever. I want to hear stories from any of you that are going, keep me updated! Get ready to make some magic :)
I met my favorite people in the world while I was on my program and I wouldn’t trade my experiences fro anything.
Follow them if you’d like! They’ll love you forever. And maybe give you fastpasses. (But don’t tell anyone.)

This kid…he’s just not right. And I think I’ve known for a while, I just haven’t wanted to accept it. They guy that I really like? It’s been him for over a year, I just thought I’d given up. He’s the one I really like, he’s the one I should be with. But I think I ruined that chance last year. It sucks, you know? Never liking the right person at the right time. I just have to keep reminding myself; Whatever is meant to happen, will. It will all work out in the end.
